Overnight Camp Trial Experience with Camp New Moon
We are excited to offer a new all-day specialty program for our Trailblazer & Maverick campers: an overnight camp trial experience in partnership with our friends at Camp New Moon! This is an incredible opportunity for campers aged 9-13 to experience the fun and adventure of overnight camp.
Program Details
- Dates: Camp Week 5 (July 28th - August 1st)
- Cost: $250.00
- Ages: 9-13 years old
- Location: Camp New Moon (for more information, visit their website)
- Water Sports: Water Skiing, Swimming, Sailing, Canoeing & Kayaking
- Land Activities: Ropes Course, Tennis, Gymnastics/Trampoline, and other land sports
- Creative Arts: Arts & Crafts
Schedule
Monday:- Campers will begin the week at BVG where they will meet their cabin mates and experience a range of fun activities. Staff will walk campers through the overnight camp schedule and expectations for the upcoming days.
- Parents will drop off campers at BVG in the morning. From there, campers will travel to Camp New Moon and arrive around 12:30 PM.
- After a welcome lunch and some time to unpack, campers will take a swim test to ensure they can safely participate in water activities.
- Campers will engage in a wide variety of activities offered at Camp New Moon, including water sports, land activities, and arts & crafts.
- After lunch, campers will board the bus and head back to BVG. The bus will depart Camp New Moon around 1:00 PM, and campers will return by approximately 4:30 PM, traffic permitting.

- Bathing Suit
- Shorts, T-shirts, Sweatshirt, Sweatpants
- Running Shoes, Flip Flops/Crocs
- Sun Hat
- Sleeping Gear:
- Sleeping Bag
- Pillow
- Toiletries (Shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc.)
- Other Essentials:
- Sunscreen
- No electronics
This experience will be a fantastic introduction to overnight camping, offering a mix of fun, friendship, and adventure! We can’t wait for your child to join us!
