"Shendy's Swim School was founded in 1992 by Eric "Shendy" Shendelman. Shendy, as he is affectionately known, sought to combine his love of aquatics and passion for teaching as he opened the part-time operation. The school quickly grew, with a strong reputation for hands on teaching, fun and safety, Shendy's became known as a top swim school in the Greater Toronto Area.

Our off-site Lake Days Camp is the perfect opportunity for Trailblazer and Maverick Campers to get “IN the lake” and get “ON the lake” each day. Operating at Rail Yard Wake & Aqua Park (just 30 minutes away), BVG campers arrive each day around 10:00am and have the unique opportunity to play on the enormous inflatable water park, try stand-up paddle boarding, go swimming, enjoy time on the beach, and more! Trained lifeguards and camp staff with lifeguard certifications are always supervising the water and each camper is equipped with a certified lifejacket each day. Campers arrive back to camp in time for their afternoon Round Up!

Get ready to discover new sports and have a blast with X Movement Sports program! This exciting program is all about trying out a variety of sports, developing new skills, and most importantly – having fun! Campers will get hands-on experience with a range of activities, from cricket to Australian rules football. Our goal is to encourage teamwork, build confidence, and promote a love for physical activity in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you're trying something new or perfecting a favorite game, there’s always a new adventure waiting in the X Movement Sports program!"

Everblast bring their multitude of immersive and active programs to our Trailblazer and Maverick Campers as part of their afternoon activity rotations. Campers will be challenged to co-operatively work as a team while enjoying creative activities including: giant team slingshots, LED light-based activities, Giant Soccer Balls, Survivor-style activities and so much more.

Real Programming 4 Kids has been a leader in taught game programming since 1988. To-date RP4K has taught over 20,000 participants and inputted over 5 million lines of code.

Our 2-week Dance Camp is a fun and active way for Trailblazer & Maverick campers to build their dance skills in a safe and supportive environment. Operated by ACE DANCE THEATRE and their professionally trained dance instructors, campers will have the amazing opportunity to learn several different dance styles/techniques including ballet, hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary. Each 2-week Dance Camp session will culminate in a recital taking place in our state-of-the-art theatre facility.

Wonder Box brings their imaginative and immersive programs to BVG’s Wildling Campers. The Silly Science activity is a favourite of all campers that have the pleasure of participating in it! From creating their very own butterfly’s and bugs to developing catapults and rockets, Wonder Box allows campers to let their imaginations soar and participate in many STEM-related activities!

Once you get the 'New Moon Bug,' it lasts a lifetime. Thousands of campers and staff cherish lasting memories of their time at camp, and we're now proud to have 3rd-generation campers!

Camp New Moon offers a stunning 130-acre facility, with beautiful, forested hiking trails, top-notch playing fields, and a gorgeous waterfront on the Lake of Bays. Our newly rebuilt camper cabins, equipped with washrooms and electricity, are nestled among mature pine trees and conveniently located near all activity areas. The waterfront is unparalleled, and the grounds and buildings are meticulously maintained, offering an exceptional range of sports and activities.

Magic Camp provides BVG campers with an unparalleled experience to learn the basics (and eventually more difficult) skills of Magic. Led by JORDAN “MIND BENDER” MURCIANO, each camper will receive fun 1-on-1 tutelage ensuring they learn several new magic tricks on a daily basis.
